Staff members were extremely kind and helpful. Big rooms, great view of the giant field and town. Bathroom could use deep cleaning. Would absolutely stay there again with my family and actually already have on 2 occasions. Decent food. Great location for shops and restaurants. Recommend

Hotel City Heart is situated in the main Market of Chamba and close to LaxmiNath Mandir. Very decent & economical Hotel for stay. Only thing missing in room is electric points for charging your phones & other gadgets. And if they also need to add electric kettle in the room. Also do not eat at hotel restaurant. Food is ok but it is exorbitant. Better try street food.

We were a group of 12 and the hotel wasn't really prepared for a large group arriving together, Unfortunately the rooms are very varied which meant some people had dark dreary rooms with a brick wall directly outside the windows as does a lot of the hotel, Room 307 was the best with front and side views at the front of building, the room was very clean and comfortable but others wasn't, We were in the restaurant both nights as there didn't seem to be much choice of places outside the hotel , Chamba isn't set up for tourist , no money exchange or alcohol ( couple of places sold beer) the hotel had a bar but it was just a very dark small room. shops were closed on a Sunday so couldn't really comment on shopping,lots of street food but didn't attempt it as didn't look that appealing. Nice green in centre of town but ball games started around 6am so was noisy, We were the only foreigners so did get lots of stares. We visited chamba from dharmasala which took up to 6/7 hours drive through the mountains with its scary curly roads, views were very good, Wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit chamba . Hotel possibly the best you may get in chamba , but that dosent mean it's great, The manager did try to look after us.

We checked into this hotel due to its great location, just beside the park and market area. The staff was very courteous. The food was reasonably priced but the taste of food was excellent. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The toilet was clean too. The view from the top floor was excellent with mountains and gardens. The Wifi was not so good in the ground floor but we were told about it beforehand. Would recommend for a peaceful stay.

A small and comfy hotel, the interiors are decent and the location is right in the heart of the city. The rooms are neat and clean and the service is good. Although we had booked the suit, which was the costliest of the lot, the bathroom had a broken tub. but apart from this, the room was big, there was hot water and it was clean.The drawback is that there is no lift in the hotel and the rooms on the GF are non-AC rooms. The month of July was extremely hot and our AC was on for most part of our stay. Not a good choice for people travelling with elderly as to get to the hotel, there are about 20-30 steps to climb from the main road. There is free wifi bt there is poor connectivity in the rooms. We dint eat the food here bt have heard its good. Alternatively, on the main road is a restaurant ASHIANA, where we had all our meals which was pocket friendly and the the food was also good. Also, there is a punjabi dhaba near by, name being Fairview dhaba which was also good. A small everyday local joint bt with good food. On the whole, a good experience. Wouldnt mind staying here again if in Chamba.
